About James "Elliott" Rado

Elliott is a Physician Assistant specializing in immediate care. He earned his Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Rush University after completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Denver.

Before becoming a PA, Elliott developed a diverse professional background in behavioral health, hospitality, and customer service. His experience in guest services and management taught him the importance of listening carefully, communicating clearly, and making people feel comfortable, qualities that continue to shape his approach to patient care. He has spent his entire career as a PA in immediate care and enjoys the variety and fast pace of the specialty.

Outside of medicine, Elliott is an avid explorer of Chicago's music, theater, and food scenes. After college, he spent several years playing and producing music, including studio work. While he no longer works professionally in music, he remains deeply connected to the scene and attends concerts frequently. He also loves discovering new restaurants, from the city's latest openings to tastings and special dining events.

Originally from Austin, Texas, Elliott remains close to his family and is a very involved uncle, having even received the highly unofficial "World's Greatest Uncle Award." When he's not working, he enjoys traveling, experiencing Chicago's arts and culture, and finding his next favorite restaurant.
