Dr. Fox moved to Chicago after earning her undergraduate degree from the University of Scranton in Pennsylvania. She completed her medical training at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and her residency at Macneal Hospital. An athlete herself with a an interest in the treatment of injury and illness in sport fitness and recreational activities, Dr. Fox completed her sports medicine fellowship at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital where she worked with recreational, high school and NCAA division 1 collegiate athletes.
Dr. Fox’s treatment philosophy merges the perspectives of provider and participant of sports. With this unique viewpoint, she aims to “return patients to the activities that they love in a safe and efficient manner” and “teach patients how to prevent future injuries and illness”.

- Injury management
- Exercise program development
What Dr. Fox loves about being a physician:
“I enjoy meeting new people on a daily basis. I love teaching people the importance of leading a physically active lifestyle. Exercise is medicine!”
Dr. Fox enjoys an active lifestyle and spending time with family and friends. It is no surprise that she also enjoys “watching sports as much as I love participating in them”.
