She then earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Iowa – Go Hawkeyes! Her interests include women’s health, providing healthcare to Spanish-speaking population, and preventative medicine.
What Jocelin loves about being a physician assistant: “I love that every day is different and that I get to meet and build relationships with all kinds of people. I love the continuity of my education through the ever changing medical advances. I love being able to teach my patients, but I also love learning from them. I strive to make an environment in which my patients feel comfortable and well taken care of. I love being surrounded by my colleagues at Michigan Avenue Primary Care and Michigan Avenue Immediate Care who set such a positive work environment.”
When Jocelin is not practicing medicine, she is spending quality time with her family which she holds close to her heart and cooking wholesome, delicious meals.
